Brian created Alaska Coastal Safety to combine his interest in training and outdoor education with 20 years of professional experience as an outdoor educator, wilderness guide, professional ski patroller, and first responder.

• Certified American Canoe Association Instructor & Evaluator: Whitewater Stand Up Paddleboard & Coastal Kayaking

• Over 20 years of experience as an outdoor educator, wilderness guide, paddle sports instructor, and outdoor program manager.

• Over 15 years of experience as a Professional Ski Patroller, First Responder, EMT, and Avalanche Rescue Dog Handler and Trainer.
